DO YOU WANT TO MEDITATE BUT FIND IT DIFFICULT?

We are told of the benefits of meditation all of the time. We benefit in our body, mind, spirit, personal relationships, lifestyle, career, in fact, every part of our life.
Therefore we would like to 'meditate' and gain all these benefits, but....

WE CAN'T KEEP IT UP!

And why don't we keep it up? Well, in my experience the main reasons are these:

We cannot find time for it.

If we try to find a regular time, for whatever reason, we just can't keep to it.

Nothing positive seems to happen and we get discouraged.

We cannot stop our thoughts from distracting us.

We fall asleep!

Although we are presented with a bewildering array of different 'schools' and methods there is a easy, basic way to meditate that anyone can use. This is because meditation is simply turning our attention away from our usual preoccupation with the input from our senses and the running commentary in our head and turning our focus 'inward'. With all these 'noises' switched off we find a peaceful inner silence - hence the title of this website. This is not difficult because, although we may not know it, we are hard-wired  to be able to do this!

ON THE LINK BELOW YOU WILL FIND A VERY SIMPLE MEDITATION EXERCISE THAT ANYONE CAN DO
(AND IT'S FREE!).

It is so simple that, after you have used it a few times, you will probably be able to perform the exercise for yourself absolutely anywhere: at your desk, on a bus or train, sittiing at home, wherever. You do not need to set aside a special time for it; although, obviously, the more you do it, the more benefit you will receive.

It only takes a few minutes and you will switch off, calm and centre yourself. You will feel an immediate benefit because you will feel more relaxed and peaceful.

It is based upon focussing on our breathing.

Because you do not need to put aside a special time of the day, finding time is not an issue.

Because you will feel its benefit straight away you won't be discouraged.

Because you are focussing on your breath your thoughts won't interfere.

Because you are focussing on your breath you won't fall asleep - unless you should be asleep!

So click on the link below. It will take you to the location of the exercise on my Cloud Drive.

You can download and save it for whenever you need it.
