Founded in 1839, Wynsfall has always had an air of mystery. A place shrouded in mist and mystery. From the moment settlers arrived, strange occurrences plagued the area. Stories of shadowy figures, disappearing villagers, and lights in the night sky became part of the town’s lore. Early settlers spoke of strange lights in the sky and voices that called from the mist. The local Native American tribe warned of ‘The Watchers’ who came from the stars. Over the decades, the forest’s dark secrets have claimed many lives
The Founding of Wynsfall (1859):
Settlers established the town at the edge of the Wynsfall Forest, drawn by fertile land and abundant game. They quickly discovered that not all was as it seemed. The local tribe had mysteriously abandoned the area, leaving behind warnings about “The Watchers” who took people away during misty nights.

The Disappearance of the Hudson Family (1862):
An entire family vanishes from their cabin on the edge of Shadow Pines. Their belongings are left untouched, and eerie symbols are found carved into their walls. The local sheriff notes that even the livestock appear terrified, huddled at the far side of the pen.
The Wynsfall Ridge Fire
(1874):
A massive fire erupts in Blackwood Forest, but the flames burn in strange, spiral patterns and leave many trees untouched. Witnesses claim to see figures walking through the flames, unharmed.
